Summary
Dispersed camping and overlanding spot in Grand County, Utah near Moab, set along the edge of a dramatic canyon with expansive desert views. This location offers a unique cliffside perspective overlooking the canyon below, making it an ideal spot for sunrise and sunset.
Access is via a dirt road that is generally manageable for most vehicles, though conditions can vary with weather and may become muddy after rain. Some sections include light rock surfaces but remain passable with careful driving. Campsites in the area are mostly level, with a few uneven options, and several spots can accommodate multiple vehicles or small groups.
The area is exposed with minimal shelter, so wind can be a factor. Caution is recommended near the cliff edge, especially at night. This is a scenic and rugged desert camping spot suited for those looking for a more open and remote experience near Moab.
